5 Steps To Get The Best Beach Waves For Your Short Hair

There’s nothing like a day at the beach. The sun, the sand, the waves… and the short hair. But how do you get those perfect beach waves without spending hours on your hair? Here are 5 steps to get the best beach waves for your short hair: 1. Get a good haircut. 2. Use a sea salt spray. 3. Use a curling iron. 4. Use bobby pins. 5. Let your hair air dry.

Step One: Wet Your Hair

The first step to getting beachy waves in your short hair is to wet it. You can do this by either showering or spraying your hair with water. Once your hair is damp, apply a generous amount of salt water or sea spray to it. Scrunch your hair up with your hands to help distribute the product evenly.

Step Two: Add Product

If you're looking to get beach waves for your short hair, the second step is to add a product. This can be done with a sea salt spray, mousse, gel, or cream. Start by spraying or applying the product to your damp hair, then use your fingers to scrunch it in. Once you've got the product evenly distributed, blast your hair with a blow dryer on low heat until it's about 80% dry. Then, twist small sections of hair around your fingers and continue blasting with the blow dryer until your hair is completely dry. When you're finished, you should have beautiful beach waves that will last all day!

Step Three: Blow Dry

Start by blowing your hair out using a paddle brush to help smooth it down. Then, use a small-barrel curling iron to curl 1-inch sections of hair away from your face. Next, spritz on some sea salt spray and scrunch your hair to give it texture. Finally, blast your hair with a blow dryer set on low to help set the style.

Step Four: Style with a Wand or Curling Iron

If you have a short bob or pixie cut, you can still get beachy waves! Just grab a curling iron or wand and create loose curls. Then, run your fingers through your hair to break up the curls and give them a tousled look. Finish with some texturizing spray for extra hold.

Step Five: Set Your Style

After you have created your desired beach waves, it is time to set your style. You can do this by using a hairspray or other styling product to hold your waves in place. You can also use a curling iron to create more defined waves. Experiment with different products and styles to find what works best for you.
