COSMETOLOGY

In this course, students are trained in the art of hair, nail design and basic skincare. The students learn how to cut, color, style, and chemically alter the texture of hair. Using a wide variety of product lines, students are taught manicures and pedicures as well as specialty nail services such as acrylic nails and gel nails. In Cosmetology, Students learn basic skincare and are instructed on how to perform basic facials and to confidently recognize skin conditions. Cosmetology course is 1500 credit/1500 clock hours of training. At completion, students are awarded a diploma. A state board theory and practical exam must be successfully completed before students will be issued a professional license.

COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

In this course, the students are taught how to teach cosmetology/nail technology classes. Currently licensed cosmetologists and nail technicians are trained in lesson planning and motivation as well as how to give hands-on demonstrations. This program is 750 credits/750 clock hours. At completion, students are awarded a diploma. A state board exam must be successfully completed before students will be issued a professional license.

MAKEUP ARTISTRY

This course teaches students the essential skills needed to work in the fashion and beauty industries as well as techniques needed for film, television and theatre. Students are taught to create glamour, period and character look without the use of sculptures, molds or other prosthetics. In our Cosmetology School, this class is ideal for those looking to exercise creativity by creating elaborate styles using only makeup and their imaginations.

The Certification Program consists of the following courses: Basic Makeup I, Basic Makeup II, Media Makeup HD, Media (Runway/Fantasy/Editorial), Theatrical Makeup, Clinical Makeup and Careers in Makeup Artistry. Advanced courses, include Airbrush, Bridal, Media II and Theatrical II.

HAIR DESIGNER COURSE IN ONLINE COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL

In this course of our Cosmetology School, students are trained and can expect to learn how to cut, color, and style both men's and women's hair. This course is slightly different than the full cosmetology course. Hair Design students learn the art of hair styling. NAIL TECHNICIAN

In Touched by an Angel Cosmetology School, the Nail Care Program is a hands-on instructional class, that teaches you the basics of a manicure, pedicure, Gel polish manicure, Nail Enhancement, Creative nail art, and the latest nail trends in the industry. The Nail Care program is to prepare students to meet the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology requirements and to become professional licensed Nail Technicians. Successful nail artists are creative people with an outstanding sense of design and masterful technical trends. The curriculum for students enrolled in nail care for a complete course is at least four (4) months and 600 clock hours of training.

BARBERING
